The playground at Shane Park will be temporarily closed beginning Monday, June 15, while preparations are made for the removal of high-risk trees. This work is necessary to reduce the risk of falling trees and branches and help ensure the safety of our park visitors. Due to the proximity of these trees to the playground, the area cannot safely remain open until this work is complete.

We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we'll provide updates as they become available. For more information, call us at (360) 417-4550 or visit cityofpa.us/m/newsflash/home/detail/2031
