Port Aransas Police Foundation Supporting our local Police Department through community initiatives, special events and programs.

The Port Aransas Police Foundation (PAPF) was founded in 2015 by local Port Aransas citizens who saw a need to provide financial and volunteer assistance to the Port Aransas Police Department for equipment and programs that are not included in the city budget. Our purpose:
- Support community initiatives, special events and programs that enable the Port Aransas Police Department to create and sust

ain partnerships with the Port Aransas citizens and visitors.
- On an annual basis, award scholarships to dependents of Port Aransas police officers or others in the community that have demonstrated a high level of civic involvement.
- Create a Police Officer’s Assistance Fund to support police officers and their families for officers injured in the line of duty.
- Promote crime prevention and recognize outstanding service in the department and community.
