🛟Labor Day weekend ended 7 days a week tower coverage for Port Aransas Surf Rescue.
We will remain with 4 day tower Coverage Thursday- Sunday until November 2nd.🛟

⚡️We want to say thank you to all our lifeguards who stuck it out through tough conditions, boiling hot days, busy weekends, holidays, and even the slow days that drag. You all did amazing and showed off what you do best. ⚡️

🇺🇸USLA Nationals 2025🇺🇸

🛟This year Port Aransas Surf Rescue traveled to Huntington Beach, CA to compete for the second year at the USLA National Lifeguard Championship.🛟

🌊⚡️Surf Rescue faced well overhead waves, strong winds, flowing currents, but never faltered. Our competitors gave it their all and learned a lot along the way. This was an amazing experience we will never forget and are constantly striving to achieve greater things. We will see y’all again in Florida next year!⚡️🌊

🛟This week Port Aransas Surf Rescue hosted our biggest USLA regional lifeguard event to date with over 60 competitors. The 2 day event allowed lifeguards all across the Gulf Coast of Texas to demonstrate their lifesaving abilities, athleticism, competitive spirit, and team work. All competitors and chapters along the coast did an amazing job stepping up to the plate and pushing beyond what many couldn’t do.🛟

🏆Port Aransas Surf Rescue took the Overall win for the 3rd year in a row and kept the trophy at home. Port Aransas took home Overall Women’s 1st and 2nd place while also snagging Overall Men’s 2nd and 3rd. We could not be more proud of our Lifeguards for putting in the hours, saving lives every day on our beach, and still finding the time to push themselves to become better athletes. 🏆

We want to thank all Chapters that made it to the event and congratulate everyone on their accomplishments.

Big shout out to for coming out and help us every step of the way with set up and cleaning up this week. You guys killed it and would couldn’t be more appreciative of the help and support of your team.

WE are looking for strong, team oriented, passionate individuals this summer to join our team here in Port Aransas. On Saturday the last of the seasonal guards and our full time guards ran the Flynn’s beach run. It was a great event to close out our shoulder season and enter the winter time. All guards placed in their respected age divisions!

🛟Today brings to a close our 2024 summer season. We will be on the beach in service Thursday-Sunday until the end of October. We close out this year at a high and look back on the excellency we have had from all our guards in Port Aransas. We thank you all for letting us look out for you and your families over the course of the summer!🛟
