Mrs. Parker’s class explored poetry, imagery, and figurative language—and the metaphor of the day came straight from Shakespeare:

“The p**p was beaten gold.”

Don’t worry…“p**p” actually means the upper deck of a ship! 😂 Who knew Shakespeare could get this many middle schoolers interested in poetry?

Today, our Marlins explored cosmetology, structural engineering, welding, environmental ecology, and electricity—all through hands-on learning in our Career Launching Labs! 💇‍♀️🏗️⚡🌱🥽

These pictures show exactly what this space was created for: students discovering new interests, developing real-world skills, and exploring careers they may pursue one day! The energy in the room was AWESOME! 🚀

We are incredibly thankful to our Port Aransas community for passing the bond that provided this amazing new space and furniture—and to the Port Aransas Education Foundation for funding this incredible project. Your investment is creating opportunities for our students RIGHT NOW! 💙🙌

Lily is smart, creative, and absolutely amazing—and now she can officially add published author to the list! We are beyond proud of her for sharing her talent with the world! 💙🌊

Family Dodgeball Night was an absolute BLAST! 😂🙌 Thank you to everyone who came out to play, cheer, laugh, hang out, and help us kick off the school year BMS-style!

And a HUGE congratulations to our 2026 Family Dodgeball Champions — THE SWORDFISH! 🐟🏆 They survived the 8-team tournament and earned the bragging rights!
