The Port Arthur Police Department is requesting the public's assistance regarding a shooting that occurred in the 1000 block of Lincoln Avenue.

Detectives are seeking information related to two possible suspects described as two black male juveniles. One suspect was reportedly wearing a white shirt, while the other was wearing a dark hooded sweater.

Residents and businesses in the area are asked to review any home or business surveillance footage recorded between 9:00 PM and 10:00 PM on June 17, 2026, for any unusual activity or individuals matching the above descriptions.

On May 22, 2026 at approximately 3:30am, officers with the Port Arthur Police Department responded to a major traffic accident in the 3800 block of Highway 73. Initial investigation revealed a male subject had been struck by a vehicle while walking in the roadway. The victim was transported to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont where he later died as a result of his injuries. The victim was identified as 27-year-old Zethaniah Randall of Port Arthur. This is an ongoing investigation.

On 5/30/2026 Officers responded to a call for service where the victim had been assaulted hours earlier. The victim was found to have a serious injury where his jaw was broken to the point where he had to have major reconstructive surgery. Officers and Detectives completed the investigation, the actor was identified as Tyler Shane Jackson. The District Attorney’s Office accepted the case and a judge signed a warrant for Aggravated Assault. On today’s date the U.S Marshals were able to arrest Jackson and book him into the Jefferson County Jail.

Port Arthur Police Department needs the public help in locating a runaway/ missing 17 year old female black, Heaven Spradley. Spradely is 5'5, 120 pounds, brown eyes, light complexion, with shoulder length gold locs last seen wearing a black hoodie, black shorts, and black shoes.
