My name is Christopher Bates and I am your Jefferson County Constable Pct.2. I was born and raised in Port Arthur, Texas and have spent my entire law enforcement career in Port Arthur protecting our streets for all citizens. I have had a passion for helping and protecting people all my life. I share a vision for children who are positive and productive, and senior citizens who have the base of sup

In 2015, God laid it on my heart to start the "Constable Christopher L. Bates Scholarship" with $500 of my own money. With support from the community through my Scholarship Breakfast, we have given over $65,000 in scholarships in 11 Years! This year, 10 students each received a $1000 scholarship!
