⛈️JUNE 9, BOCCE WEATHER UPDATE⛈️

After closely monitoring today's forecast, we have decided to err on the side of caution and call a rain day for Tuesday, June 9.

The forecast has remained fairly consistent, and it appears thunderstorms are likely throughout the day and into this evening. Rather than risk unsafe conditions, we feel this is the best decision for our players, volunteers, and spectators.

The tournament will now begin Wednesday, June 10, with team check-in at 5:30 PM and play beginning at 6:00 PM. The second day of competition will take place on Thursday, June 11.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If this schedule change affects your team's ability to participate, please contact me as soon as possible so we can make any necessary adjustments to the brackets before tomorrow evening.

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility. We appreciate your patience and look forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday!

⛈️2026 BOCCE TOURNAMENT WEATHER UPDATE⛈️

We are very excited for the 2026 Port Austin Bocce Tournament! At this time, there is a possibility of thunderstorms throughout the Tuesday afternoon and evening. If weather conditions require us to call a rain day, the tournament will be delayed and begin on Wednesday, June 10, with the second day of play taking place on Thursday, June 11.

We understand that a schedule change may be inconvenient, and postponing is certainly not our preference. However, the safety of our players, volunteers, and spectators must come first.

We will continue to monitor conditions closely and will provide an update as soon as a decision is made. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and flexibility as we monitor the situation.

We look forward to seeing everyone on the courts soon!
