Can’t wait to see this 🎥🎬

We’ve been spending a lot of time on the road lately… and every stop continues to remind us of something: Every community has a story worth telling.

As we continue filming Season 3 of My Town, we’ve had the chance to visit communities across the country - from Charlotte County, Florida and Sun City West, Arizona to upcoming stops in Vermont, Nebraska, North Dakota, and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.

Along the way, we’ve met incredible people, heard meaningful stories, and seen firsthand what makes each place unique.

We’re also beginning conversations and exploring a limited number of community partnerships for Season 4 in 2027.

Career opportunities do not always begin with a job posting.

Sometimes, they begin when students meet healthcare professionals, families receive food support, or hospital teams show up in the community.

HCA Florida Healthcare colleagues recently volunteered across Southwest Florida, supporting food access, blood donation, mentorship, and community health.

A skilled workforce starts with real opportunities. HCA Florida Englewood Hospital is hosting a healthcare hiring event from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, with openings for experienced nurses, respiratory therapists, rehab specialists, imaging technologists, clinical techs and more. Qualified candidates may receive same-day offers, and some roles include sign-on bonuses up to $10,000.

The Women in Aviation Southwest Florida Chapter is opening doors for Charlotte County’s future workforce. ✈️

Through mentorship, career exploration and hands-on exposure at the new Aviation Maintenance Technology School at Punta Gorda Airport, students can see that aviation careers are broad, practical and possible close to home.

With pathways in aviation, advanced manufacturing, cybersecurity, logistics, and more, local technical education is giving students faster routes to skilled careers while helping employers build the workforce they need.

Workforce development starts long before a job application.

It starts with mentorship, confidence and someone showing up for a young person. SWFL Rotary and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast recently brought community leaders together in Babcock Ranch to discuss youth development, education and long-term opportunity.

The next step: helping launch the Babcock BIGS Club.
