Did you know that CCPS had 55 team/individual athletes make it to the State Finals?
A huge congratulations to the athletic programs from Lemon Bay High School Athletics , Port Charlotte High School, and Charlotte High School Fighting Tarpons for advancing to state competition. Charlotte County is proud of our student-athletes, coaches, and supporters who helped make this incredible achievement possible.

School may be over, but Champ’s Café is just getting started! We are thrilled to kick off our 2026 Summer Break Spot program, bringing FREE breakfast and lunch to all kids and teens ages 18 and under across Charlotte County. 🥪🍎

Last year, our amazing staff served nearly 50,000 meals, and this year we're dreaming even bigger.

One teacher said, 'Meredith has always believed in me as an educator, even when I doubt myself. She continuously supports me and helps me feel confident in what I'm doing. Meredith checks in on me to see if I need anything to help my students be successful, and also checks on me as an individual and gives me advice on how I can become a better version of myself. Is your teen up to the challenge? The Teen Driver Challenge is back! This is an opportunity for your teen to receive some one-on-one defensive driving training from our deputies, as well as classroom instruction that is designed to give them the skills they need to make smart and safe driving decisions.

Classes will be held on June 5th and July 17th from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
