We have received reports that "deputies" with the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office are calling jurors to inform them that they have missed jury duty and must pay a fine. The Ottawa County Common Pleas Court and the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office are NOT charging fines for missing jury duty. If you believe you may need to appear for jury duty, please call 419-734-6791 to confirm. DO NOT PAY ANY “FINES.”
