Welcome Doors of Ottawa County Welcome Doors of Ottawa County is a project of the Leadership Ottawa County Class of 2013. Welcome Doors of Ottawa County is a project of the Class of 2013.

These decorative, festive doors serve as a way to encourage travel and exploration throughout Ottawa County. Each year the Leadership Ottawa County class completes a project within the community. They serve as a destination point or guide for visitors to use, and will encourage both residents and visitors alike to discover new points of interest and businesses in Ottawa County. Participating busin

esses and organizations in Port Clinton, Marblehead, Genoa, Elmore and Oak Harbor may also choose to incorporate an incentive or special coupon, so make sure you tell them that you are visiting to see their “Welcome Door!”

The doors are modeled upon and inspired by the urban fairy doors in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
