πŸ’œ Thank You for Helping Raise Awareness About Elder Abuse πŸ’œ

A heartfelt thank you to Ottawa County Commissioners Mark Coppler and Don Douglas for joining us at the Danbury Senior Center to read a proclamation in recognition of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day in Ottawa County.

We are grateful for your support in bringing attention to this important issue and helping raise awareness about the prevention of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation in our community.

Thank you as well to the members of the Ottawa County Task Force on Aging, the Ottawa County Senior Resources team, Adult Protective Services, and the older adults from across our community who joined us for today's proclamation reading and ice cream social. Your participation demonstrates our shared commitment to protecting, respecting, and supporting older adults.

This event is one of the many programs Adult Protective Services has provided to bring awareness of the extent of senior exploitation and scams.

Together, we can help ensure that all older adults are treated with the dignity, respect, and care they deserve.
