The Marshall Point Light House Museum is pleased to announce that our Capital Campaign to repair the walkway for our lighthouse has been reached and exceeded. Year-end contributions and the funding from FEMA for the cost of damages have been received to achieve our goal. We truly appreciate all who have contributed in 2025, along with the support of the St. George Town office for securing the funding from FEMA.

For 2026, our work will continue as the lighthouse tower will be refurbished, along with the painting of the Keeper’s House. Marshall Point Lighthouse does not charge admission, with our support being from donations and sales from our gift shop. Thank you to all who contributed to this Capital Campaign.

Marshall Point Lighthouse is more than a photo op (though it’s a good one!). It’s a volunteer-run nonprofit that welcomes over 20,000 world visitors each summer—supporting the local economy and offering free access to both the grounds and the museum. Each year, the lighthouse also gives back by awarding scholarships to local St. George students. Thanks to the expert work of historic restoration specialists, the storm-damaged walkway has been beautifully repaired—but now we need to close the funding gap. The $150,000 repair has been completed, but $85,000 is still needed. If this iconic beacon has ever meant something to you—or you want to support a small nonprofit that continues to be a light in our tiny town—please consider sharing or donating. https://www.marshallpoint.org/donate
