Final days for Rummage & Book Sale Treasures!

We will be cleaning house this week and any remaining items will be going to local charities.

Stop in Tuesday and Wednesday to see what's left.

A friendly but firm reminder; all donations, books or otherwise, need to be offered only when the library is open. Leaving items outside costs the library transfer station fees more often than not. Thank you for understanding.

If you donated some assorted jewelry to the Rummage Sale, we found and saved a small gold colored locket; inside are two photos of a gentleman taken in the early part of the 20th century.

Our library was opened on January 18th, 1887, as recalled in this newspaper article from the Essex County Republican in 1947.
