Approximately 30% of St. Clair County’s population is made up of seniors aged 60 and older. Our county has a significantly larger proportion of older residents compared to both the State of Michigan and the national average. It is estimated that by 2030, 1 in every 3 residents in St. Clair County will be senior citizens, further increasing the need for services. The millage renewal is on the August 4th ballot.

07/30/2026

Our crew spent 24,281 hours on household chores for seniors with support from the Senior Citizens Millage from 2022 – 2025. Tasks included cleaning gutters, lawn mowing, snow shoveling, fixing leaky faucets, etc. to help seniors maintain a safe home environment. The millage renewal is on the August 4th ballot.
