Woman's Life Chapter 809

Would like to take the time to Thank everyone who has been involved with Chapter 809 since the beginning until now, I truly appreciate every single one of you. This chapter will be merging with Woman's Life Chapter 10 at the First United Methodist Church within the next month. So everyone is invited to transfer with Chapter 809. The Velma J Kress Nursing Scholarship Spaghetti Dinner will transfer also, thank you Chapter 10. They meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday at 7.00 pm at 828 Lapeer Rd., so please come and visit these wonderful ladies. Hope to see you there. Our Chapter is collecting cans and bottles from now until December to help with the cost to put on the Dinner for the Velma J Kress Nursing Scholarship on May 21, 2016 at FUMC. Please contact me if you have any that you would like to donate so we make arrangements to pick them up. Thank you Sandy Kress, Pres. The Nursing Scholarship is to help two students with their costs toward their expenses. They can apply at Sc4 for the Velma J Kress Nursing Scholarship.

Our Christmas Family we adopted we cooked dinner, made fleece blankets and as a Volunteer Project. Also had a pop drive to buy extra gifts for the residence such as clorhes and some small items. Dale cooked the ham, roastedthe potatoes and carrots. Ashley made veggies, cheese cake, Kim did the pumpkin pies. Ashley, Sandy, Vicki, Kim and Dale made the fleece blankets. Grear job Chapter 809!!!
