CMS Student Council Update.....
CMS Student Council received a VERY generous grant from The James C. Acheson Foundation to help with Leadership Initiatives. This kindness sent 25 of our Leaders to Frankenmuth to the Leadership Lab that is put on by the MASC/MAHS through the MASSP. This conference is held bi-annually and our CMS presence has helped to develop a positive culture of Leadership within our Student Council. Our Leaders learned about public speaking, ice breakers, communication, teamwork, goal setting and building a positive culture. Along with all of these skills, they were able to enjoy collaborating with other schools throughout the state. They are already busy planning how to bring this back to the other 52 members of Student Council to share. We are thankful for the opportunities that the Acheson Foundation has given our Student Council and for their continued support in growing Leaders at CMS!

Conferences are much more than just a brief update on grades or attendance—they are a dedicated space for us to build strong, trusting relationships. When we sit down together, share insights, and align our support, we set our students up for meaningful success both in and out of the classroom 🌟.

Whether it's celebrating a strength, brainstorming solutions for a challenge, or simply getting to know your student's teachers, your presence makes a world of difference!

Conference Schedule:

🗓️ Wednesday: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Drop-in Style)

🗓️ Thursday: 11:45 AM – 2:45 PM & 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Drop-in Style)

Please note: We will have 1/2 Day Dismissals for students on Wednesday (10:38 AM), Thursday (10:38 AM), and Friday (10:38 AM) ⏰.
