¡Haz que tu voz sea escuchada! Departamento de Educación de Texas (TEA, por sus siglas en inglés) está realizando la encuesta anual para padres de niños que reciben servicios de educación especial a fin de conocer más acerca de la manera en que los distritos escolares están promoviendo la participación de las familias en la educación de sus hijos.

Los participantes seleccionados pueden completar la encuesta en: www.ParentSurveyTX.com. Necesitarás tu pin. También puede llamar al (512) 580-6008 para completar la encuesta por teléfono o enviar un correo electrónico a [email protected] para solicitar que le devuelvan la llamada.

¡Tus respuestas son importantes! Tus respuestas a las preguntas de la encuesta brindan información a nuestro distrito acerca de cómo podemos mejorar nuestra forma de trabajo con los padres y las familias. Además, tus respuestas ayudan al estado de Texas a medir el desempeño de todas las escuelas a nivel estatal en lo que respecta a este importante ámbito. Los resultados podrían ayudar a orientar las mejoras a los servicios de educación especial para los niños en nuestro distrito y en Texas.

¡Tus respuestas y la identidad de tu hijo(a) son totalmente confidenciales! Nadie en el distrito verá tus respuestas. Gibson resumirá los resultados obtenidos de los padres participantes antes de compartirlos con nosotros. La fecha límite para enviar las respuestas es el 19 de mayo del 2023.

Have your voice heard! The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is conducting its annual survey of parents of children receiving special education services to learn more about how school districts are engaging families in their child’s education.

Selected participants can complete the survey at: www.ParentSurveyTX.com. You will need your pin. You may also call (512) 580-6008 to complete the survey over the phone or email [email protected] to request that they call you back.

Your answers are important! Your answers to the survey questions give our district information about how we can improve how we work with parents and families. Also, your answers help the state of Texas measure how all schools are doing across the state in this important area. Results may help guide improvements to special education services for children in our district and in Texas.

Your responses and your child’s identity are completely confidential! No one at the district will see your answers. Gibson will summarize results across all responding parents before sharing with us. The deadline for submitting responses is May 19th, 2023.

El Programa de Educación Especial ESC de Region One organizará una capacitación GRATUITA para padres, familias y cuidadores de estudiantes con necesidades especiales. La Especialista en Desarrollo Humano, Patricia Valencia brindará una capacitación dinámica de medio día sobre los siguientes temas:

Padres especiales para niños especiales
Un sistema familiar de amor
Desafíos para padres de niños con necesidades especiales
Esta capacitación será una sesión híbrida y los materiales se proporcionarán tanto en inglés como en español.

Region One ESC-Special Education Program will be hosting a FREE training for parents, families, and caregivers of students with special needs.

Human Development Specialist, Patricia Valencia will provide a dynamic half-day training on the following topics:
Special Parents for Special Kids
A Family System of Love
Challenges for Parents of Children with Special Needs

This training will be a hybrid session, and the materials will be provided in both English and Spanish.
