During Trauma Awareness Month, TRAC-V proudly recognizes the EMS professionals, nurses, physicians, trauma centers, dispatchers, emergency managers, and healthcare partners across South Texas who stand ready every day to respond when seconds matter most.
 
Through regional coordination, emergency preparedness initiatives, trauma system development, and innovative programs such as prehospital whole blood implementation, TRAC-V continues working to strengthen trauma care capabilities and improve patient outcomes throughout our region. Together, we are building a stronger, more resilient trauma system for the communities we serve. 🩸⚕️🧠

Maternal sepsis remains one of the leading causes of pregnancy-related deaths worldwide, yet many cases can be prevented through early recognition and timely treatment.

During Maternal Sepsis Week 2026, TRAC-V encourages our communities and healthcare partners to learn the warning signs, promote maternal safety, and support efforts to improve outcomes for mothers across South Texas. 🩷
