We’re just days away from the 11th Annual Summer Causeway Run & Walk! 🎉 Here’s everything you need to know before Race Day:

🚨 EARLY BIRD PARTICIPANTS, PLEASE READ! 🚨
If you registered as an Early Bird and want to receive your Early Bird shirt, PLEASE PICK IT UP BEFORE 5:45 AM ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12.

⏰ At 5:45 AM Race Day, any unclaimed Early Bird shirts will be released to runners who did not receive one, first come, first served while supplies last.

📍 PACKET PICKUP
• Monday, Sept. 7 | 4–7 PM — Port Isabel Event & Cultural Center, EOC Building
• Tuesday, Sept. 8 | 2–6 PM — Weslaco Chamber of Commerce
• Wednesday, Sept. 9 | 2–6 PM — Topgolf McAllen–Pharr, 3rd Floor
• Thursday, Sept. 10 | 4–7 PM — Port Isabel Event & Cultural Center, EOC Building
• Friday, Sept. 11 | 4–7 PM — Port Isabel Event & Cultural Center, EOC Building
• Saturday, Sept. 12 | 4–6 AM — Port Isabel Event & Cultural Center, EOC Building

⚠️ Race Day packet pickup closes at 6:00 AM. Lines will be longer than usual, so please arrive early and plan accordingly!

🎒 NEW THIS YEAR — FREE RUNNER BAGS!
The first 100 participants each day Monday–Wednesday to check in will receive a FREE Summer Causeway Runner Bag, generously provided by Kennedy Bag Impressions! 🙌

🚌 RACE DAY SHUTTLES
Shuttles run 4:30–6:15 AM from:
📍 Beach Waterpark — 33261 State Park Road 100, South Padre Island
📍 Sutherlands — 1704 W Queen Isabella Blvd., Port Isabel

✔️ Race bib must be visible to board
✔️ Registered participants only — no spectators/guests
✔️ 10K runners will be prioritized as their start time approaches
✔️ If arriving after 6:00 AM, we strongly encourage parking near the start line or in the surrounding Port Isabel area
✔️ If possible, getting dropped off near the start line is recommended

🎓 Students (18+) & Veterans/Active Duty Military: Proof of current school or military ID is REQUIRED at packet pickup.

👕 if you registered after August 11th: Shirts are first come, first served and are not guaranteed.

🎉 After the race, stick around at Beach Waterpark for vendors, sponsors, medal presentations, and the finish-line celebration! Bring your family and friends and make a day of it! 🌴🏅
