Happy Father's Day from the Port Isabel Lighthouse State Historic Site!

Lighthouse Keeper William Egly (1895-1905) operated the light at Point Isabel where he and his wife raised a family. He ended a 41 year career as a light keeper in 1921 at the Brazos Santiago Lighthouse. http://portisabelhistory.com/2022/04/16/william-egly-unsung-hero-of-the-lower-laguna-madre/

Weather permitting, the Lighthouse is open daily, (Summer Hours), 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Admission: Adults $5; 55+ $4; 5-12 yrs. $3; Military/Vets $2.50. Visitor Center is open daily 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Port Isabel Lighthouse is a Texas Historical Commission State Historic Site.

Thursday (6/18)! Movie at the Lighthouse: "Zootopia 2" (9 p.m.). Starting at 3 p.m., join a Lighthouse Keeper for the Navigators Series, a hands-on, educational activity before the movie on the lighthouse. A new activity EVERY week. Families are invited and it's FREE! Look for the Lighthouse Keeper in the park.

City of Port Isabel Swimming Pool ~ Opens Saturday, 6/13!

The City Pool will officially open to the public tomorrow, Saturday, June 13, 2026. Regular operating hours will resume, and all amenities will be available for use.
We appreciate everyone’s patience and support during the renovation period, and we look forward to welcoming our community!

Hours of Operation for the Summer are the following:
Closed Mondays
Open - Tuesday through Sunday
12:00 PM - 7:00 PM Daily
During Inclement weather pool will be closed.
