Tonight we celebrate one of our own.

Congratulations to Diane Gardiner on being recognized at the Suffolk County Legislature’s 2nd Annual EMS Recognition Awards Ceremony. This honor is truly well deserved.

Anyone can learn skills and protocols, but kindness, compassion and heart are what truly make a difference in EMS. Diane brings those qualities to every patient and every person she meets. She is a comforting presence during difficult moments, a reassuring voice when people need it most and the kind of person who reminds us what EMS is truly about. She is the caring presence people remember long after the emergency is over.

The Setauket Fire Department is incredibly proud to see Diane recognized for the amazing person and EMS professional she is.

Congratulations, Diane 👏🏻🚑
