Here's an updated map of the rainfall totals we've seen the past few days. A few areas have already seen more than 6 inches of rain! Coverage will not be as widespread tonight or tomorrow, but by Saturday chances increase once again.

With rounds of thunderstorms the past couple of nights we have picked up some beneficial rain across the area! Check out how much. While river responses have been minimal so far, with more rain forecast through the weekend, we will likely see some rises in the coming days.

A flood watch has been issued for all of South Texas beginning late tonight and continuing through Monday. Multiple rounds of showers and storms are expected over the next 5 days, and with the rain we have already seen, flash flooding will be a concern.

It was an honor to witness the unveiling of the Clark Station historical marker. It is amazing how deep the roots of these families run in Calhoun County.
