🚦 Traffic Safety
Traffic enforcement remained a priority throughout the month. Officers conducted 406 motor vehicle encounters, addressing moving violations, equipment violations, and other roadway safety concerns. These efforts are intended to reduce crashes, improve driver behavior, and enhance the safety of all motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists traveling within the Township.

🚨 Emergency Response
Officers responded to 57 alarm and 9-1-1 related calls and provided assistance during 45 medical emergencies, often working alongside fire and emergency medical personnel to ensure residents received timely assistance.

📚🎒 Stuff the Truck School Supply Drive 🎒📚

Walmart is partnering with the Mansfield Township Police Department to help support local families as they prepare for the 2026–2027 school year!

Join us on Sunday, August 2, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Walmart for our "Stuff the Truck" School Supply Drive!

Every donated school supply will go directly to students in the Mansfield Township School District, helping ease the financial burden for families who could use a little extra support this school year.

If you'd like to donate but can't attend the event, please contact Sergeant Ellie Russell at [email protected] to arrange a donation.

SCAM ALERT:
Scammers are calling people impersonating well known companies such as Verizon and Valley Bank and asking people for their personal information to deal with a problem with their account. If you are suspicious of any calls please hang up right away and call the number you have for the actual company. They went as far as making a fake website for Verizon and having it coming up on the caller id as Valley Bank with a different number.

The Department continued its commitment to community-oriented policing and crime prevention through a variety of outreach and proactive enforcement efforts. As always, we appreciate Donaldson Farms - Farm Market for supporting Mansfield’s Emergency Services, by hosting their annual Hero’s Night on June 19th. We would like to thank all who attended and showed their continued support and appreciation toward our agencies.

Community Policing Efforts

Community engagement remains an essential component of the Department's mission. Officers participated in 30 administrative and community policing events, strengthening relationships with residents, businesses, schools, and community organizations. Additionally, officers conducted 44 residential and commercial property checks and 30 school checks to help deter criminal activity and promote a safe environment throughout the Township.

Officers responded to 45 alarm and 9-1-1 related calls and provided assistance during 74 medical emergencies, often working alongside fire and emergency medical personnel to ensure residents received timely assistance.
