🍂 September will look a little different at the PNSC! 🍂

The first few weeks of September, we’ll still be enjoying our time together at the center. But as we head into the third week, we’ll be making a little move over to Hebert Public Library, located at 2025 Merriman St. 📚❤️

A very special THANK YOU to our friends at the library for opening your doors and allowing us to share your space while our center gets a little makeover. We are so grateful for your kindness and generosity! ❤️

We won’t have any BIG activities this month, but that doesn’t mean we won’t still have plenty of fun, laughter, games, fellowship, and time together. Sometimes it’s not about what we’re doing—it’s about who we’re doing it with. 🥰

And when we return to our home away from home, we’ll have something exciting waiting for us…

I’m so excited about this new chapter and this little adventure we’re taking together. Thank you for always being willing to roll with the changes and make the best of every situation.

Lunch will be provided at the center the first few weeks in September and starting on the 14th it will be delivered at the Library while our floor is being installed. Nutrition and Services will be closed on the 18th and will not be delivering food that day. Please draw and x on your menu for the 18th. Thank you.

💜 EXCITING NEWS AT THE PNSC! 💜

As most of you know, we will soon be getting NEW FLOORING at the center, and we are SO excited! 🎉

We are currently looking to begin the flooring project on September 14th. If that date changes, I will be sure to let everyone know. I’ll also keep you updated along the way so you’ll know what to expect.

While the center is closed, the Port Neches Library has generously offered to share their space with us by allowing us to use one of their rooms. We are so grateful for their kindness and willingness to help keep our activities going! ❤️

Although we won’t be able to have Bingo during this time, we will still have Dominoes, Bunco, and possibly some other activities such as Chair Yoga. We want to keep everyone connected and having fun while we make this exciting transition!

We anticipate being temporarily displaced for approximately 3–4 weeks. We know it may be a little different for a short while, but when we return, we’ll have a beautiful new floor to enjoy for years to come! ✨

💜🏈 Some things just bring a community together—and in Port Neches-Groves, football is one of them.

You don’t have to be born here to catch the Indian spirit. Somewhere along the way, you become part of it. You wear the purple, cheer for the Indians, and before you know it, you bleed purple too! 💜

These seniors are proof that Indian pride knows no age and no hometown. Some were born and raised here, while others found their way to PNG later in life—but they all proudly call themselves part of the Indian family.

Because that’s what makes this little town so special. 🏈💜

Attention Seniors!!!! There are scammers on our page!!!!! DO NOT BUY THESE SHIRTS! This is a trick from someone trying to take advantage of you, they will take your money and you won’t get anything in return!!!! Please be aware.
With that’s said I am looking into getting us shirts made at some point but they will not be for sale online! You will hear from me first so please don’t give away your money to these scammers.
I’m continuously changing our Facebook password to try and keep these thieves out!!! They don’t usually create a post, they get into the comments like you see in the picture.

🎃🍂 Craft Day at the PNSC! 🍂🎃

Dolly and our seniors got creative today and made these super cute pumpkin décor hangers! 🧡🎃

It may not officially be fall yet, but that doesn’t mean we can’t start pretending it is! 😂🍁 We’re already getting into the pumpkin spirit around here!

I absolutely love seeing our seniors get together, laugh, create, and enjoy time with one another. ❤️
