Part 1:
What a whirlwind of a week and not exactly how we planned to end the final days at Woodcrest….. but ohhh the memories we have made and shared. We had our Farewell to Woodcrest on Tuesday after a long day of trying to repair plumbing problems for a 73 year old school.
Tuesday also hosted our annual 3rd grade BASH before the closing of the doors for the final time. In addition our amazing team of parents wouldn’t let this year go without a 2nd grade BASH in the books also.
We have laughed, we have cried. We have been sad, we have been excited. We have battled, we have overcome. One thing for sure is that we have had the OMBA spirit ( and for those of you that don’t know, that means Only My Best Always). This year we adopted and we have stuck to that!
Thank you to the current and past students, teachers, admin., parents, volunteers and community members that have made Woodcrest “the Hidden Gem”.
This final chapter at Woodcrest is closing… we are sad to see her go, yet we are overwhelmed with the excitement of the new schools.
