Star Academy

Star Academy Star Academy is licensed by the state of Texas and accepts children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. We offer childcare for ages 6 weeks to 12 year-olds.

Star Academy Learning Center strive to meet every child's needs. The infant through toddler classes encourage children to explore and discover his/her world. They will be provided with a safe and comfortable learning environment where they will eat, play, rest and grow! Our trained staff will provide you with a daily activity sheet that will be given to the parents at the end of the day. Our three

and four-year-old Pre-K class will give your child the needed head start for the following Kindergarten year. The classroom environment and use of the Texas Ready Curriculum ensures that they will have all the tools needed to continue their education on out. It is a set curriculum created by the State of Texas to teach language arts, science, math and history. We also provide after school care for Woodcrest elementary. They will be picked up and dropped off after school by the PNG bus transportation. Upon arrival they will be served a snack and then brought to their classroom for games, age appropriate learning center or help with any homework they might have. We also provide the Schoolers with an all day Summer Camp Program that includes many activates. It is our goal to help you as a parent by providing a safe, clean, educational and fun environment for your children to learn and grow!

🚨 STAR ACADEMY CLOSURE UPDATE

Due to the number of families and teachers who are currently without power, Star Academy will be CLOSED tomorrow, Wednesday, September 2nd.

We understand this may be an inconvenience, but with so many of our families and staff affected, we feel this is the best decision for everyone’s safety and well-being.

⚠️ ATTN PNGISD FAMILY: A statement regarding school for tomorrow.

As power is restored, campuses will be available for staff to prepare for Thursday. ��Coaches or sponsors will communicate for meetings or practices for their specific teams. 💜

PNGISD has announced a closure due to the predicted weather so Star Academy will also be closed tomorrow.

We know these last-minute weather decisions can be frustrating and disruptive for families and staff, and we completely understand the inconvenience. Our priority is always the safety of our children and staff, and we will continue to follow PNGISD’s decisions regarding severe weather.

Please stay safe, and we will keep everyone updated as we know more.
