Originally developed in concert with NASA scientists and Silicon Valley leaders our industry -leading technology has evolved over eight years and countless iterations. Today, three world-class sailing yachts are equipped with the company's water-cooled customOCEAN displays, which were installed in 2007.

5000nits' latest additions to its customOCEAN line are air-cooled 19-inch and 22-inch LCD monitors. The larger screens make it easy to use on a ship's bridge and the new display offers watch officer’s faster access to critical data. Touch-screen capabilities allow the entire ship to be controlled by a simple touch of the hand. Our all-glass front screen allows the creation of a virtual “glass bridge” by mounting multiple individual displays edge to edge. The wall-of-glass effect can be achieved without the added cost and risk of bonding multiple displays together and without creating a potential maintenance nightmare.

5000nits offers a comprehensive two-year warranty. An added margin of safety can be added by participating in our direct exchange warranty option – keep a spare display aboard and we will ship an exchange the moment we receive confirmation that your damaged screen has been shipped for repair. While our American-made exterior displays cost a few dollars more than the competition, they are three to five times as bright. Out interior models are as bright as the competitions' exterior models while still costing significantly less.
