As we wrap up another wonderful school year, we want to thank our students and families for your partnership, support, and dedication throughout the year. Watching our students learn, grow, and create memories together has been a true joy.

We hope your summer is filled with fun, laughter, rest, and quality time with loved ones. Whether your days are spent traveling, exploring new adventures, reading great books, or simply enjoying slower moments at home, we encourage everyone to stay safe and make the most of this special season.

To our students: we are so proud of all you accomplished this year and cannot wait to see all the amazing things you will do next.

Thank you again for being such an important part of our school community. Have a safe, happy, and relaxing summer break!

Friday, May 29 is a staff duty day, and we are excited to offer one last opportunity to show appreciation to the incredible teachers and staff members at Silver Sands Middle School. Families may purchase a special treat for a staff member, or staff members may even purchase a bundle for themselves!

This time, we’re making it extra easy — no need to reach out to staff members for their preferred drink choice. The PTSA will handle that for you!

You simply choose from one of the following four options:

The Culinary department joined forces with Mr. Abbott's 7th-grade math classes in a cross-curricular endeavor at the beginning of April. Five assorted brownies were baked by the Culinary students and sampled by the math students, who then voted for their favorite and chose a graph type to represent the class data. This partnership proved beneficial for both parties, as Culinary students practiced their baking skills and math students applied data analysis and graphing skills in an engaging, practical, and succulent manner, thereby ensuring student success in both subjects.

Our campus is beginning to shine with all the new paint and decor! We put back some of our banners and we’re excited for all the kids to see the improvements on campus in the fall :-)

We have just concluded a week of gratitude, during which teachers were treated to delightful surprises, engaging trivia, and special prizes courtesy of our parents, community, and school. This Teacher Appreciation Week has highlighted the significance of recognizing the relentless dedication that goes into educating a multitude of students daily. Our sincere appreciation goes to the community providers and the extraordinary PTA for their collaborative efforts.
