🌺Aloha from the Washington Veterans Home🌺

Hawaiian Days brought a little island spirit to the home, with one special day featuring a fun musubi-making group and beautiful ukulele entertainment from Dr. Singer 🌴🎶

It's just one example of the many fun and meaningful activities our residents get to enjoy- from themed days and music to good food, laughter and time spent together. Sometimes, it's the simplest moments that feel the most peaceful and special.

A little aloha, a little music, and plenty of smiles make for wonderful days at the Washington Veterans home 🤙

The Boxing Academy is going strong 🇺🇸🥊

Men and woman veterans are showing up, working hard, and having a great time. Our instructors bring circuit training, one-on-one coaching and plenty of encouragement- and we're already seeing real progress!

More than a workout, the Boxing Academy is building, strength, confidence and a positive vibe a the Washington Veterans Home. We're proud to see our veterans putting in the work and bettering themselves every week.

Surrounded by family, fellow residents, and the employees who adore her Maria celebrated an extraordinary milestone- a century of life, service, strength, and memories. She continues to thrive and brings something special to everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Reaching triple digits is a big deal here at the Washington Veterans Home. We are incredibly proud to celebrate this remarkable veteran and the amazing woman she is.

A Community Worth Celebrating ❤️

What a great day at the Washington Veterans Home! Our 3rd Free Family Fun Fest brought together our veterans, employees, families and community for a day filled with plenty of smiles

This unique event opens the doors to our beautiful home and invites the community in for a day of special events. This year featured face painting, bouncy houses, carnival games, Dragon Wheels farm, history exhibit, and Olympic Ambulance just to name a few.

These photos capture what makes this place special: our veterans, our families, our beautiful grounds and the hardworking employees who make events like this possible.

Thank you to everyone who made the Family Fun Fest another unforgettable day!

The Free Family Fun Fest at our Washington Veterans Home was so much fun that even Jimothy made an appearance! 🎉🦝 Thank you so much to all our staff, volunteers, and the community for coming out to support our Veteran residents. It was a blast to see you all having fun and the residents having a great time too!
