CCEC Network Outage

We are experiencing a network outage affecting our internet, online payment systems, phone systems, and payment kiosks due to an issue with our upstream network provider. We apologize for the disruption and appreciate your patience.

Our office remains open to accept cash or check payments in person during regular business hours. For outage emergencies, please call our emergency hotline at 866-352-9044.

We are working with our providers to restore full service as quickly as possible. Thank you for your continued membership and patience.

Preparing for Early Fall Weather Conditions

We want to make members aware of a weather system expected to move through our service territory over the next few days. Forecasts indicate periods of rain and gusty winds, making this the first significant storm system of the fall season.

With increased winds and continued precipitation, there is a higher potential for trees, branches, and other debris to come into contact with power lines, which may result in scattered power outages throughout our service territory.

As a precaution, Coos-Curry Electric Cooperative will continue operating under elevated system sensitivity settings that have been in place during wildfire season. These settings are designed to help protect the electric system and reduce the risk of wildfire ignition.

We encourage members to take a few simple steps to prepare for possible outages:
- Charge phones and other essential devices
- Locate flashlights and check battery supplies
- Review backup plans for medical equipment that requires electricity
- Stay clear of downed power lines and report them immediately

While weather related outages cannot always be prevented, our crews are prepared to respond safely and restore service as quickly as conditions allow.

We will continue to monitor the weather and provide updates as needed.

Congratulations to John Herzog on Earning His Board Leadership Certificate!

We're proud to recognize John Herzog, CCEC Board Secretary/Treasurer, for achieving his Board Leadership Certificate from the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA).

John has deepened his expertise in electric cooperative governance through rigorous professional development completing his Credentialed Cooperative Director (CCD), and now Board Leadership Certificate (BLC). This ongoing commitment demonstrates the knowledge and dedication our board brings to serving CCEC members.

The Credential recognizes directors who continue their education beyond the CCD earning advanced credits in issues-oriented coursework. John's achievement underscores CCEC's commitment to board excellence and cooperative principles.
