On Friday, December 12th local members along with executive board members from the Port Reading First Aid Squad visited the Bristol-Myer Squibb Children's Hospital in New Brunswick to deliever the toys collected from the numerous toy drives throughout this holiday season. In total from all the donations we were able to deliver 17 full boxes of toys and 5 boxes of coloring books, crayons and colored pencils to be distributed to the children admitted in the hospital during the holidays.

A huge thank you goes out to Nick Kuchie and his partners from BMI Marketing who made a very generous donation towards the toy drive campaign as well as the staff and students from Colonia Middle School for their donations of coloring books, crayons and colored pencils.

Lastly, a big shout out to goes to Port Reading Fire Department Captain Anthony Terebetsky and his family for spear heading another successful toy drive campaign to bring holiday cheer to those who need it most.

Our food drive is still ongoing and the time to help those in town is now more than ever!

Thank you to all those who have made donations already. Together, through our five participating departments, we have collected over 150 pounds of food so far, which has been delivered to the St. James Food Pantry for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Your support is needed now more than ever. Please help those in our area. Food donations are accepted at the Port Reading Fire House now through December 19th.

The Woodbridge Township Firefighters Association in conjunction with the St. James Food Panty will be hosting a food drive starting today running until December 19th.

Please consider donating non-perishable food items to the respected departments drop off boxes listed on the flyer to help us continue our mission in helping the residents of Woodbridge Township.
