What an incredible evening! 🎉🔬

Tonight we welcomed over 175 families to our Orlando Science Center & Family Fun Night, and the excitement was contagious! Students and families explored hands-on science activities, interactive demonstrations, and engaging challenges that sparked curiosity and discovery.

Our talented Jazz Band also performed during the event, adding an amazing musical touch to the evening 🎶

We’re excited to announce our 8th Grade Sneaker Ball — a special “Friday Night Done Right” event just for our Manatee Academy 8th‑grade students!
🎉 Date: Friday, April 17th
⏰ Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
📍 Location: Manatee Academy
💲 Cost: $10 per student

Students can look forward to an evening of dancing, fun, and friends.
Please note that this is a privilege event — students must have no referrals between March 24th and April 17th in order to attend.

If a student receives a referral during this period, they will not be eligible to attend, and there will be no refunds.

The event is proudly sponsored by our PTO, Student Council, and Drug‑Free St. Lucie.

We look forward to a great night for our 8th graders!

Aloha Manatee Families.This Wednesday is Kona Ice. Please use the pre-pay link to pay for your students or send $5 cash with them to school on Wednesday. In order to minimize disruptions and protect instructional time, the office cannot accept forgotten or late money to give to students, so please make sure students are pre-payed or have cash with them on Wednesday.

It’s a touch-it, build-it, test-it, explore-it science adventure!
🔬 Families will rotate through 15+ hands-on, interactive science stations designed to spark curiosity and excitement about STEM learning. Students and families will actively engage in exploration, experimentation, and discovery together!
But that’s not all! 🎉

Every student who attends and signs in (with their homeroom teacher listed) will be entered into a drawing to win a Book Machine Coin!
✔️ Students must clearly write their teacher’s name on the sign-in sheet.
🧪 Science Passport Challenge
Visit at least 7 of the 15 science stations and earn a NO HOMEWORK PASS for the evening! We want students fully immersed in the science experience!
