๐ Fort Pierce: New North Causeway Bridge opens Friday May 15th at 8am, weather permitting. High-level fixed bridge replaces aging drawbridge, wonโt need to open for marine traffic. Means fewer stops for drivers traveling between SR A1A and US 1, more reliable route overall. Bridge spans Florida East Coast Railway, Old Dixie Highway, and Intracoastal Waterway. Expected to significantly cut down traffic backups while improving safety for drivers, pedestrians, cyclists, and boaters.
