HJ CARROLL PARK CARETAKER(S) WANTED!
Jefferson County Parks & Recreation is seeking one or two people to play a key ‘live-on-site’ role. There is seasonal variation, but on average, the caretaker(s) work 20 hours per week helping to maintain and supervise this beautiful day-use park. Must be on-site consistently 5 days a week. In exchange for your service, we provide a large, private, gated space with full hook ups, landscaped yard, and storage space. We pay for electric, water, sewer, propane, private broadband internet, and garbage service.
Bring your own RV. This position is year-round & ideally at least 2 to 3 years. This is an annual contract services agreement, not a Jefferson County employment opportunity. Position start date is flexible but could be as soon as May 1, 2026.

The basketball courts at Courthouse Park
will be closed off and on
between March 11, 2025 and May 30, 2025
to repair the goals and re-surface the courts.

The courts will be re-opened for use during this time frame whenever possible. It is impossible to schedule the exact work days because painting and surfacing are weather dependent.

OAK BAY CAMPGROUND HOST(S) WANTED. Jefferson County Parks & Recreation is seeking Camp Host(s) to play an important role on our team. An individual or a couple will be considered.

Our professional staff do the heavy maintenance; caretakers live on site and provide 20 hours a week supervising the campground and completing light maintenance.

The position is April 1, 2025 through October 31, 2025.

The busy season is Memorial Day through Labor Day. The position is off duty from on Tues and Weds and may take up to 15 days of vacation during the shoulder seasons.

In exchange for your service, we provide a campsite for your RV with power, trash service, water, private broadband internet access, and mobile RV tank pumping not to exceed $300/month.

This is an annual contract services agreement, not a Jefferson County employment opportunity.
