🇺🇸 Memorial Day Office Closure Notice 🇺🇸

In observance of Memorial Day, Jefferson PUD offices will be closed on Monday, May 25. We will reopen with normal business hours on Tuesday, May 26.

Need to pay your bill? No problem! You can make payments online anytime—24/7/365—through your SmartHub portal on jeffpud.org.

Restored (1:30pm): The pole replacement is now complete and power restored to all customers at this time.

(8:30am): Unfortunately, a car Vs. pole incident was the cause of this outage at the intersection of Larson Lake and Beaver Valley Rd.

Crews have isolated the affected pole and we have restored power to all but 20 customers that must remain without power until the pole is replaced.

Outage (7:05am): We currently have 1,327 customers out of power in the Port Ludlow area.

The cause is unknown at this time. Line crew have been dispatched.

SCAM ALERT! Customers have reported receiving calls stating their bill must be paid immediately over the phone or with prepaid cards or their power would be shut off. THIS IS NOT THE PUD!

If you receive a call like this hang up immediately and please report the call to our customer service at (360) 385-5800 and/or the Jefferson County Sheriff.

Below are some best practices. Jefferson County PUD employees will NEVER:

• Call, text, email, or make a home visit demanding an immediate payment.
• Call, text, email, or make a home visit requesting any credit card, banking, or financial information.
• Request payment on a prepaid card.
• Shut off service without providing written notice at least 7 days in advance.

As the risk of wildfire increases here in Jefferson County, East Jefferson Fire Rescue (EJFR) is scheduled to provide wildfire prevention information for residents on Thursday, May 21, 10:30-12:30 at the Jefferson County Library, 620 Cedar Avenue in Port Hadlock.

Robert Wittenberg, Community Risk Manager for EJFR together with Lara Gaasland-Tatro, Jefferson County Public Health Environmental Health Specialist will talk about how wildfires move and grow and ways you can protect your home and your health.
