After 40 incredible years and over 26,000 teachers served, Summer Institutes is coming BACK LIVE this June in Michigan (June 13–18, 2026)! Teachers from other states will be able to attend virtually through our ‘ZOOM Live” link. 3-4 semester credits.
I’ve missed the energy, the connections, and those unforgettable “aha” moments we shared together. Now at 71, I’m hoping to make this comeback something truly special—and I need your help.

"Summer Breeze, makes me feel find"...was the last song my sweet sister Linda sung on her death bed. Spent three days and nights with her being in the now, talking about the little things, Yosemite, her 1967 Mustang fastback, Christmas on Golf road, past boyfriends, children and grand children. Then in the back ground Seals and Crofts came on. She smiled and sang along with whispering breath. I wonder if David Crofts would realize that some would soon die with comfort because of his song?
She "felt fine" and passed a day later. Rest assured she is flirting with David Crofts (RIP) now in heaven. Please download the song in their memory...and feel fine!

DONT abuse women: I learned this from my Grand Daughters today: “THINK” before you speak: IS IT 1) Thoughtful? 2) Helpful? 3) Inspiring? 4)Necessary? 5) Kind? My Dad, a WWII Drill Sergeant taught me to never verbally or physically abuse women. My wish is that our nation's leaders learn from my Dad and his great grand daughters.

When it comes to teamwork, you've got four choices:
1. Be a leader who helps your team succeed.
2. Be a leader who helps your team fail.
3. Be someone who follows a leader helping you succed.
4. Be someone who follows a leader helping you fail.
If you find yourself leaning toward option 4, remember this: leaders who foster failure often act out of insecurity-driven by the fear of failing alone. It takes real courage to influence a "2-4" mindset, especially when those individuals are the so-called "cool" ones in your social circle.

Excited to be back in the game with the "We Believe in Youth" Mentorship Program! I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve been hired as a European American Professional Football Consultant for the Catalan Grizzlies in France. In this role, I will provide strategic guidance to develop a "We Believe in Youth" Mentorship Program." WBY was featured on a nationally televised program, for its success in reducing gang violence and more importantly violence against women. Additionally, a French English teacher has invited me to bring one of my Summer Institutes Educators’ Workshops to France to address teacher burnout, promote educator wellbeing and increase classroom management performance.
