The wait is over - it’s your time to shine!🌟Volunteer sign-ups for our fully accessible playground build week (June 2-8) are officially LIVE, and we need YOU to make this experience unforgettable! No matter your skill level, there’s a spot for you:
🔨Skilled Labor - If you’re ready to tackle circular saws and drills, we’ve got a place for you to show off those skills!
🎨Unskilled Labor - Whether it’s sanding, shoveling, assisting with carpentry, or getting creative in the art tent, if you’re up for hands on tasks, this is for you!
🥪Runner/Food Service - Not into tools? No problem! Help out behind the scenes with runners or keeping our hardworking volunteers fueled up in food service!

PLUS, every day, volunteers will receive:
✨Water all day to keep you hydrated
✨Light Breakfast (7:00-8:00) with coffee, donuts, muffins & granola bars
✨Morning Snacks to keep your energy up
✨Lunch (12:00-12:30)
✨Afternoon Snacks to power through
✨Dinner (5:00-5:30)

☀️🌳📚 Join Miss Amy for Storytime at Possibility Playground this summer on select Tuesdays! June 25, July 23 & Aug 13 @ 10-11am. Stories, songs, and fun. Geared for toddlers-Kindergarten, but all are welcome! (In case of inclement weather, it will take place at the library instead.)

This truly has broken our hearts. We built this park as a community, and as a community we need to work together to preserve it.
This is the second incident of pickets being kicked out. We have recovered the pickets that were left laying and are working to see if any were stolen. In partnership with the city, we will reinstall them this spring.
Please reach out to the Port Washington Police Department if you have any information. If you ever see someone mistreating our beautiful playground, please report it!

Possibility Playground in Port Washington’s Upper Lake Park was struck by vandals, who knocked out portions of the picket fence. Anyone with information is asked to call the Port Washington Police Department at 262-284-5585.

Update. This was the second time the same spot was vandalized. Some of the pickets were recovered and the Friends of Possibility Plaground group is working with the city to get them replaced.
