Plaid Cardinal, a new quilting and fabric shop, recently opened its doors in downtown Port Washington!
Owner Ashley Heun is turning her lifelong passion for sewing and quilting into a local destination, offering colorful fabrics, quilting patterns, threads, and other sewing supplies. She also plans to offer quilting classes, children’s sewing camps, and other creative workshops in the future.

Local business owners may be eligible for a $2,500 equity injection through WWBIC’s Pathway to Prosperity program.
PNC and WWBIC are offering 10 equity injections to qualifying small business owners, including businesses located right here in Ozaukee County. Eligible businesses must have been operating for at least three months and meet the program’s training or counseling requirements.
