What a wonderful morning worshipping together and celebrating all that God has done this summer through our “Do Something” service theme! Here are a handful of pictures from our ecumenical worship service and potluck this past Sunday. Thanks to everyone who attended, brought food, helped with set up and clean up, etc. and to Grand Avenue United Methodist Church for hosting everyone!

We had a great team of youth and their parents serving this meal and we had a wonderful time doing it!

A huge thank you to Lighthouse - Port Washington Saukville Ecumenical Youth Ministry for hosting our Saturday Community Meal! 🌭☀️

They treated everyone to a delicious brat and hot dog lunch that was a big hit with our guests. It was the perfect summertime meal, and we truly appreciate the time, generosity, and care they put into serving our community.

And we’re off!
Please keep our group in your prayers as we travel to Nashville for an amazing week of service, learning, and lots of fun! We will once again be partnering with Serve Boldly, and can’t wait for the adventure that awaits as we answer the call to “Do Something” to share and experience God’s love alongside our neighbors in Nashville ❤️

We celebrated the end of another great program year on Sunday with a trip to Slick City Wauwatosa and enjoyed an evening of pizza, dodgeball, and giant slides. Thankful for all our Lighthouse students and friends, and excited for some fun adventures together this summer as well 😎

This group gathered tonight for our annual Easter basket assembly. Each basket was assembled for a child currently being assisted by Family Promise of Ozaukee County, and we trust they will bring some joy to the 24 kids and families who will receive them. We even had some extra goodies left to make 2 gift baskets for the incredible staff who work at Family Promise. What a great way to share God’s love with our neighbors this Easter season!

Our Lighthouse building has a beautiful new sign! This will make it easier for people to know where we're at and help get our name out in the community. Big thanks to members of the Lighthouse board as well as the trustees committee at Grand Avenue United Methodist Church for making it happen!

Want to hear some good news? Come to tonight's Lenten worship, hosted by Lighthouse Youth Ministry! Chili & hot dogs on the menu for supper starting at 5:30 at Grand Avenue United Methodist Church, followed by worship in the Lighthouse building next door led by our youth. See you there!

Last night, a group of students from Lighthouse as well as Vineyard Church gathered to assemble 184 birthday kits (a new record for us)! A huge thank you to the members of Christ the King Lutheran, Living Hope Lutheran, First Congregational Church, Parkside Community United Church of Christ, Grand Avenue United Methodist Church, and Vineyard Church for donating the supplies to make this project possible again this year! The kits will be donated to The Food Pantry, Inc., Ozaukee Food Alliance, and Family Sharing of Ozaukee County, Inc. to ensure their clients are able to enjoy a birthday celebration. 🥳

On Sunday, a group from Lighthouse as well as some new friends from the EPIC youth group in Cedarburg gathered at First Congregational Church, for a fun afternoon of Winter Olympic inspired games. We divided into 3 teams and held competitions in speed skating, slalom skiing, hockey, curling, bobsled, and skeleton! Then we ended with some Olympic inspired snacks and a short devo looking at passages where the Bible compares our life of faith to running a race and striving for the ultimate prize. It was a great event!
