Our littlest Lincoln Lions are officially ready for kindergarten! We are so incredibly proud of our amazing cubs and how much they grew, learned, and smiled this year. ✨ Next stop, kindergarten—we know you will do amazing things!

Yesterday was X Day here at LES. Bet you’re wondering what we did for that, huh?!?! Well, the wait is over…we had an X-change autograph gathering on the playground! Students received their yearbooks and went around to collect signatures from other students and staff. For those who did not order a yearbook, we made special autograph books, so everyone had a chance to participate. We all left with filled pages and cramped wrists!!! 🖊️ 📖 ✍🏼

What happens when readers work together? A masterpiece! 📖🧩
Students spent the month of May adding pieces to our 1,000-piece library puzzle, and today our 4th graders placed the final pieces. Thank you to all of our students and staff for their amazing teamwork ❤️🦁❤️

Our fearless and dedicated leader, Mrs. Jane Gennerman, is retiring at the end of this school year. We will all miss her and her words of wisdom each and every day. Our fantastic parent group (Parent Association of Lincoln School, Inc.) surprised Mrs. Gennerman with a special gift and beautiful cake last Friday as a symbol of their appreciation for her years of service to our community. The cake was decorated with Mrs. Gennerman’s most famous quote, “Once a Lincoln Lion, always a Lincoln Lion.” 💙🦁💛

A great PWSSD tradition continued today as all former Lincoln Lions from the PWHS senior class of 2026 walked through the halls once again this morning! Our hearts are bursting with pride and joy for these students for the amazing people they are and the beautiful futures that lie before them. Today was Team (T) Day at LES, which meant the halls were filled with lots of Packers, Brewers, Badgers, and Bucks apparel, in addition to an array of sports uniforms, Lincoln gear, and, of course, attire from non-Wisconsin teams. S stands for Stuffy Day! Students brought in a stuffed animal today to help them learn. We saw stuffies on the carpet for number corner, in the gym for warm ups, in music singing solos, in art cutting and gluing, and at desks for some reading. It’s so much fun for the kids to show off all that they do each and every day to their special friends! ❤️
