* Until 415 PM EDT.

* At 332 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Blandburg,
moving east at 40 mph. This storm was part of a cluster of
developing severe storms.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
Tyrone, Stormstown, Bald Eagle, Bellwood, Warriors Mark, Patton,
Tipton, Port Matilda, Blandburg, Spruce Creek, Birmingham, and
Franklinville.

This includes Interstate 99 from mile markers 41 to 67.

BLAIR PA ALERT: NWS Partners - Blair County and Surrounding Areas-Saturday, June 6, 2026



Initial round of showers early this morning across northwest Pennsylvania with no severe threat.
Showers/storms are expected to develop during the mid-to-late afternoon hours and gradually move southeastward across central Pennsylvania late this afternoon and evening.
Strong-to-severe thunderstorms are possible, with damaging wind gusts being the main hazard. Large hail is also possible across central Pennsylvania.


Important Changes:

Added hazard-specific and timing information for the severe thunderstorm threat this afternoon/evening.
Slight increase in rainfall totals introduces a slight risk for flash flooding across portions of western Pennsylvania.

Blue K**b Volunteers took on a "township tour" today running 4 emergencies in 4 different townships. The day started with a automatic fire alarm in Greenfield Township followed by a noon auto accident in Juniata Township. This afternoon brought another auto accident in Pavia Township with the evening ending with a motorcycle accident in Freedom Township.
