The Pantry was recently the recipient of a promotion from AMPI. They assembled and donated 40 “Summer Cookout” bags that included AMPI produced cheese, along with hamburger, buns and all the fixings. Thanks for supporting our Pantry!

On May 9th, courtesy of Portage community donations, the National Association of Letter Carriers delivered 2999lbs of shelf-stable items to the Portage Food Pantry. We gratefully acknowledge their organization's outstanding work in organizing this recent food drive and thank all donors for their support.

Portage Food Pantry is open during regular hours. Contrary to recent reports, we are not closed. Our hours today are 11:00-12:00.

AMPI employees have generously contributed 582 pounds of shelf-stable items and $30 to fill our shelves. The Pantry could not help so many in our community without this kind of support! Thanks!!

During National FFA week, the Bartels Middle School FFA members held a penny war. Staff member, Christine Williams, chose the Portage Food Pantry as the recipient of $389.07 that was raised. Thanks to the students and staff who contributed their pennies to us! We appreciate the support.

The Pantry is grateful to Boy Scout Troop 70 and Pack 70 for their generous food drive contribution of 1437 lbs, which helps stock our pantry. We also appreciate the Portage community's support for the Scouts and our organization. Thanks to all!
