Many EMTs and paramedics work extended shifts, mandatory overtime, and high call volumes while still being expected to perform flawlessly under pressure.

Fatigue affects responders physically, mentally, and emotionally.

PFD Unit 720 Class A Pumper and light rescue responding to its first fire.

Purchased in Fiscal Year 2025 for $805,000 ($600,000 Fire Protection Grant and $200,000 PFD Fire Protection Funds). Then mostly equipped with $150,000 Fiscal Year 2026 Capital Outlay funding with the final equipment purchased from PFD Fire Protection Funds. Approximate total cost $960,000 of Rolling Arsenal Against Death and Destruction.
