The Golden Student Success Center will be closed in celebration of Labor Day on Saturday, September 5th, 2026 - Monday September 7th. Normal Fall hours will resume on Tuesday, September 8th at 8:00am.

El Golden Student Success Center estará cerrado en celebración del Día del Trabajo desde el Sábado 5 de Septiembre de 2026 hasta el Lunes 7 de Septiembre. El horario normal de otoño se reanudará el martes 8 de Septiembre a las 8:00 a. m.

Where is the Special Collections Librarian? She’s out in the community!

Special Collections will be closed from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. today. We apologize for the inconvenience.

The librarian is bringing resources about the Downwinder program (RECA) to a community presentation at the Portales Senior Citizen Center (421 Industrial Drive) at 1 p.m. You are welcome to attend this free community event to learn about the Downwinder program and resources in the area.

🐍 Last week's Slither & Learn was fun for the whole family! (Though we have a feeling some of the adults were even more excited to meet the snakes than the kids! 😄)

Thank you to everyone who joined us and if you missed it, don't worry! We're already planning another Slither & Learn during the upcoming semester, this time with an adults-focused twist that you won't want to hiss... I mean miss! 🐍

🎶 Get a behind-the-scenes look at Herencia y Horizonte! 🎶

Join us on June 25 at 3:00 PM in Buchanan Hall as we celebrate Hispanic heritage through music and song. Jorge Aldavaz will guide us through both traditional and contemporary musical styles, exploring the stories, culture, and lyricism that connect generations across different Hispanic cultures.

We can't wait to share this special afternoon with our campus and community and hope to see you there! 🎼✨

Acompáñanos el 25 de junio a las 3:00 p. m. en Buchanan Hall para celebrar el patrimonio hispano a través de la música y el canto. We had a great time at NewsChannel 10's Summer Celebration! ☀️📚

It was wonderful meeting so many members of our community while handing out bookmarks and sharing information about our Community Borrower Card.

If you didn't get a chance to sign up for a card at the event or would like more information, you can still stop by the Golden Library Circulation Desk during our regular hours. We'd love to see you!
