We'll see you at this year's Hatch Chile Festival Sept. 5 and 6! This annual harvest festival in the “Chile Capital of the World” includes chile roasting, local food and craft vendors, fun for kids, a carnival and entertainment provided by local businesses. Be sure to stop by and catch NEW MEXICO—Taste the Tradition® Chef Ambassador Becky Windels as she demonstrates a few delicious recipes featuring New Mexico green chile!

Join us in celebrating "A"'s 13th birthday on the 11th! Birthdays are a wonderful time to show the love of Christ in a tangible way to the children that we serve at NMBCH. Sending cards or praying makes such an impact. It tells them there's someone out there who cares, even if they've never met face-to-face.

NEW CLEAR BAG POLICY — Effective September 5, 2026
Starting this Fall 2026, ENMU is implementing a clear bag policy beginning with the first home football game (and it applies to all athletic events and recurring campus events, including commencement).

What you CAN bring:
One clear bag (max 14"H x 14"L x 6"W), carried personally
One small clutch bag, doesn't need to be clear (max 5.5"H x 8.5"L x 1.75"W)

Exceptions:
Medical bags — allowed for documented health needs
Baby/diaper bags — one per parent/guardian (max 8"H x 13"L x 4"W)
Heads up: All bags are subject to screening at entry and inside the venue.

Congratulations to Paislee Williamson, the winner of our first-ever Lineman’s Challenge at the Roosevelt County Fair!

The Lineman’s Challenge was a new addition to our booth this year, giving kids a chance to put their skills to the test and get a small taste of what our linemen do. We had some great competition throughout the week, but Paislee recorded the fastest youth time of the entire fair!

For taking the top spot, Paislee received a Lineman’s Challenge prize pack full of RCEC gear and goodies.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and gave the challenge a try. We had a blast with this new addition and hope you did too!
