Pictured: Our small but mighty Rebuilding Together Duneland crew from this past Saturday's 30th Annual Rebuilding Day - made up of park staff, general volunteers, and folks from Porter Bank and Laborers' Local 81. We cleared invasive garlic mustard, honeysuckle and trash, primarily by hand, in order to open up almost 300 feet of the southern shore of Lake Charles at Lake Charles Park. Thank you volunteers and Rebuilding Together Duneland for all of your hard work to help beautify the community and make Duneland a better place to work, live and play!

We had great weather for the annual Town of Porter Boo Bash at Hawthorne Park! Almost 400 donuts decorated and consumed, 10 gallons of apple cider, an insane amount of candy, take home crafts, face painting, a costume contest, and a witchy performance kept all of the area goblins and ghouls entertained! Thank you to all that came out to support and take part in the event!
