🌪️New Tornado Sirens Installed

We are proud to announce the installation of two new tornado sirens in our community!

* One siren is located in Clarksville.
* The second siren is located at the Red Barn.

These new sirens will help improve emergency notifications and enhance public safety for our residents and visitors.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the City of Porter for securing the grant that made this project possible. Their support and partnership have helped strengthen our community’s emergency preparedness.

The Town of Porter invites everyone to join us for a Dedication Ceremony at Town Hall as we celebrate recent improvements to the building and recognize families whose generosity and support have meant so much to our community throughout the years.

There is GREAT concern over the weather this afternoon/evening. Timing is showing maybe 6:00 to 8:00 for our area. These storms are individual supercells, not one line like we’re used to. Make your plans now for how you’re going to stay safe this evening. Some of these cells could come without warning. Pay attention to the watches and warnings. Have a plan! Watch the local weather stations. Have ways to receive alerts!
