Engine 91 was deployed this afternoon on a Type 1 Strike Team. Assignment is to report to Riverside County on a Office of Emergency Services Move Up assignment. Station 90 is fully staffed in its absense.
Update: it was a quick trip for the crew. Back in quarters late last night.

Tule River Fire Department, Medics from Tule River Health Center and Medics from American Ambulance were invited to assist in Cal Fires Annual Firefighter Academy. Tule River Fire and Health Center Crews were demonstrating and training Cal Fire Staff on the usage of the Lucas Automatic Compression Device that we carry on our units. This pass week, members from Tule River Fire Department attended a Specialized Training Class in Confined Space Rescue. Our departments Special Operations Trailer and equipment was used in the week long class. This again is to keep staff and equipment in the ready to serve.
