Bus 1873 Burton School District,

Parents and Guardians,
Bus will be picking students back up at normal stop Education Center at 6:50 AM starting tomorrow, September 1. They will be dropping off at the Ed Center at 5:00 PM in the evening as well.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Please help us let any parents we do not service know as well.

Out of an abundance of caution, PORTERVILLE COLLEGE remains under lockdown following reports of an armed individual near Highway 190, campus is currently under a Shelter in Place order.

All Classes for the remainder of the day (8/27) are CANCELLED.

If you are on campus, remain indoors, lock all doors, stay away from windows, and do not leave your location until an official "ALL CLEAR" is issued. If you are not on campus, stay away from the area.

Updates will follow as soon as more information becomes available.

Parents, we understand that you may want to go to the school to pick up your student(s). However, while the school is under an active lockdown, please do not go to the campus or attempt to pick up your student(s) at this time.
We are actively monitoring the situation and will provide updates as soon as more information becomes available. Your student(s) are safe and remain under the supervision of school staff. Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and understanding as they work to keep all students and staff safe.

William R. Buckley is on early release tomorrow with release at 1:00 PM for parent pick up. Please note that there will be NO BUS SERVICE.

There will still be a Burton bus 1873 route for students attending all other schools. The bus will leave for the reservation at approximately 4:30 PM and arrive around 5:00–5:15 PM.

Reminder Burton School Parents -

Bus 1873 will be at the Justice Center at approximately 3:00 PM for early release Wednesday. Please pick up your students promptly.

Students signed up for services with Study Center Van transportation will arrive at the Justice Center approximately 5:00 PM.
